Enjoy every minute! Reading lots of good idea fodder helps me think of what to write a lot of times. So crack open that feedreader and stuff it full of relevant feeds. Also, talking to other bloggers helps. Finally, keep a master list of post ideas somewhere and work regularyl on pre-scheduled posts. That'll give you time to do spontaneous posts.

I decide what to talk about in the same way. I jot down post ideas all the time. Sometimes I pick from that list and other times I write about something that came up during the day...in talking with a colleague or client. Other times I sit and stare at the blank screen until something, anything, comes to me.

You'll find some days the ideas and the writing flows and other days it doesn't. But I warn you...it's addictive, and it won't be long before you'll miss it when you don't post.

Congratulations, Peggy! I know you only by name--I'm Lisa's mom--and I'm as excited for you as she is. I have a blast thinking up things to post about, and I'm sure you will, too. I'm going to put this site into my blog bookmarks right now.

I look forward to reading about what you're doing. Have a great time!
