beachHi %$firstname$%,

What's your WHY?

Have you given thought to WHY you do what you do? Specifically in your business, but it applies to every area of your life.

I've been thinking a lot about WHY PMA exists, and how it came to be, thanks to TED talk by Simon Sinek I saw recently.

When my kids were young, like many mothers, I wanted to contribute to the family income, but I strongly believed I needed to be at home with my kids. I dabbled in many things looking for a way to make money and stay at home - refinishing furniture, selling children's books, insurance collections, and dare I admit, envelope stuffing!

Then I heard about Coaching and Virtual Assistance, and I jumped on that bandwagon. Who had heard of these things back in 1999?! The rest, as they say, is history. PMA is in its 12th year of operation and I found a way to stay home with my kids while contributing to my family's bottom line.

From my very first coaching client working on her dissertation to the past and current clients of PMA, I believe you have something to say. That's my WHY. And that's why PMA is passionate about helping you get your message out to the widest possible audience.

Here's To Your WHY,
Peggy

business bloggingAre you getting the desired interaction and visibility on your blog? Are you wanting to attract more readers so you can share your content and increase you reach?

If you are struggling to build your online blog presence there is good news…you are not alone. Many people struggle with the ingredients required to get on the road to blogging success. Start by using these 3 tips:

  • Create a Presence – Start by creating a blog design that is appealing and eye catching to your readers. Also, begin blogging on a regular basis and creating your blogging presence.

  • Create Great Content – Creating content that your readers are asking for and interested in goes a long way. Ensure your content includes hot topics and/or events that are happening in your industry, builds credibility, is relevant to important issues or topics in your industry, and is compelling.

  • Visibility – It is important to generate interest and grab the attention of your target audience, as well as the attention of other industry bloggers and thought leaders. Essentially you want to build the “right kind” of traffic and exposure for your blog. Using targeted keywords in your blog is a great way to boost traffic, as well as using social media networks to send people to your blog.

While your blog is a great tool to showcase your expertise remember that it is only one part of your entire marketing strategy. Use it effectively to stimulate interest and drive traffic to your site where you can offer further value to your readers.
